Our pasture-raised meat chickens are raised exclusively outside, on grass from the time they are old enough to leave the brooder. They live happy lives running around, eating grass and insects, and fertilizing our pasture. We move them daily so they always have access to fresh grass. What does this mean for you? Happy animals have lower cortisol, and animals fed a diverse diet have higher nutritional value. Plus, they just taste better!
